The Hamptons is a mixture of freehold houses, leasehold flats and housing association housing. In order to manage the communal facilities and maintain our green spaces for the whole community, a management structure is in place.
The Hamptons Estate Company (HEC)
The Hamptons Estate Company (HEC) is a dormant residents management company (RMC) which exists to maintain the communal areas of The Hamptons including open land, roads, pathways and recreational space etc. Working with our appointed managing agent, currently Rendall & Rittner, the HEC set and collect the estate service charge as mandated by the TP1 covenants. The HEC is run on a voluntary basis by a board of directors, all of whom are residents. The articles of association can be found here.
Estate Management Team
Given the size & complexity of the Estate, the HEC employs a full time Estate Manager and contracts a property management agent (currently Rendall & Rittner) to oversee & deliver these responsibilities on a day to day basis.
The Estate Manager and their team are therefore the primary point of contact for any enquiries.
Flat Blocks and Block Directors
The eight privately owned blocks of flats on The Hamptons are all separate legal entities. The communal areas within them are managed by individual block residents management companies which each have their own appointed directors. There is no actual legal connection between HEC and the blocks, however they currently all contract the same property management agent (R&R) which enables some efficiencies from common service provision. This means the Estate Manager and their team are the primary point of contact for any block enquiries.
